I see online that a lot of us try to start the year off on the right foot, for whatever we may need to get our lives more in order. Here are some positive snapshots for the new year from the blogging community. We do not have to wait till January 1st to adopt these mindsets. Let’s try to remind ourselves and others more often.

As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it.
– Albert Einstein
With humility for ourselves and awe for the vastness of the world around us, we have to admit that this quote makes a very good point. What one knows is so small compared to everything that exists. The pursuit of knowledge has always been a key motivation for me as a feat in itself and for the improvements I can make in my life by applying it. Sow an action, reap a habit.
Sow a habit, reap a character.
Sow a character, reap a destiny.
Stephen R. Covey, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
One of my favourite quotes. It entices me to look at the big picture of life that I want and reminds me that it is the little thoughts and actions that will get me there. I have the thoughts; I just need to sow them well and feed them daily with good action. If I overlook my habits, I may not want to reap the results.
I love quotes! I have a collection which I love to revisit and add to. It provides me with the needed dose of positivity and inspiration. See my growing list here of the quotes I share from my personal journal. While reading the work of my fellow bloggers, I have come across a lot of new tidbits of wisdom to add to my own inspiration collection. So, I decided to do a post featuring some great quotes shared by bloggers recently. Continue reading “Power Posts: Shareable Quotes”
