The book is a wonderful read so far. I am reading the truths that I think I need to hear from the variety of topics that are covered in 101 Simple Truths for a Better Life by Humble the Poet. Each of them is short, sweet, and impactful. Often, this genre does not enlighten us to profound truths that were the missing puzzle pieces preventing our lives from being more awesome They are really just some ideas that we know but forget and we need to be reminded of them again. I have drawn the conclusion that this statement is applicable to many things in my life. I have focused my time and perspective on rediscovering the things I need to do or have always chosen to do without much consideration. I did not realize how much I missed. Simple example: yes, chores seem tedious and boring. But it is important for me to create an environment around myself that is pleasant and I want to put in the time for it.
