“I’m not very creative” doesn’t work. There’s no such thing as creative and non-creative people. There are only people who use their creativity and people who don’t. Unused creativity doesn’t just disappear. It lives within us till it’s expressed, neglected to death, or suffocated by resentment and fear. The only unique contribution that we will ever make in this world will be born of our creativity.

The lethargy and bad habits it creates are not easy to beat but also not impossible. I would like to believe that, with some sincere time and effort, things can be put back into place and laziness will not have as much control over me. Continue reading “How to Stop Being Lazy”
I get quite disappointed in myself the moment I realize that I have passed hours, or sometimes days or weeks really, without sticking to my goals and making any progress that I can feel good about. It is a sad, frustrating, restless moment that does not always translate into improvement for me. Continue reading “Short-Term Perspective, Long-Term Success”

Love as much as you can, as often as you can.
Radiate vibrance, speak words of truth, live with joy.
Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending. – Marie Robinson

Sometimes this feeling sneaks up on me and just knocks me down. It is also a feeling that has been my gauge for improving my life and finding value in it. This video by Improvement Pill portrays the idea of emptiness very well. I know the feeling and the 3 recommendations to keep it at bay are worth the investment of time.

Click on the twitter handles to see more from these users. If you are sharing inspiration on Twitter, WordPress or elsewhere, I do not want to miss out so leave a link below.
I have made a promise to myself. To take responsibility for me. Shortly before I started this blog, I started keeping what I dubbed my “Success and Wellness Journal”. Whatever goes in there is a reflection of my commitment to be good to myself and create the life that I want.
People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well neither does bathing. That’s why we recommend it daily. – Hilary Hinton “Zig” Ziglar
For a long time after I first heard this quote, I liked it but did not know how to express its validity or act on its message. But one day, it hit me. After a streak of unremarkable and unproductive days, I had an amazing day:

It always seemed strange to me that the things we admire in men, kindness and generosity, openness, honesty, understanding and feeling are the concomitants of failure in our system. And those traits we detest, sharpness, greed, acquisitiveness, meanness, egotism and self interest are the traits of success. And while men admire the quality of the first, they love the produce of the second.
