Twitter is a great space to share ideas fast. In the few months that I have been using it, I have created my own space there to check in for quick inspiration. So today, I thought I would share some of my favourite recent tweets and users that I have regularly followed. They serve as advice, reminders for my goals, sound reasoning, positivity, and more. Click on the twitter handles to see more from these users. If you are sharing inspiration on Twitter, WordPress or elsewhere, I do not want to miss out so leave a link below.
A dose of inspiration and empowerment from my fellow bloggers. This is where I share your work. If you can relate or share an idea just as inspirational, make sure we do not miss it: leave a comment below. Check out the excerpts below and I highly recommend checking out the full posts and blogs:
It always seemed strange to me that the things we admire in men, kindness and generosity, openness, honesty, understanding and feeling are the concomitants of failure in our system. And those traits we detest, sharpness, greed, acquisitiveness, meanness, egotism and self interest are the traits of success. And while men admire the quality of the first, they love the produce of the second.

Matters of Living has launched a Facebook group and wants you to be a part of the conversation. The group, Life’s Like This, is a call for you to share the ups and downs of life and, more importantly, how you thrive and survive it all. Put your heads together with other people who are just as interested in life as you are.
Yes, so far, it is just an empty page and Matters of Living wants to see it filled with your ideas. Make it come alive. Come and initiate conversation, participate in discussions, share your latest blog posts or thoughts, or pass on interesting things you have seen or read. The more the merrier!
Please share, re-blog or forward the Facebook group to others who would enjoy participating. Hope to see your voice join the discussion to share and find new ideas for learning from, loving, and living life.

For me, the wonder and challenge of the blogging community is the great work out there. There are so many incredible ideas and insights out there to read, savour and ponder. For this very reason, a most beloved feature of mine on this blog is Power Posts. I have wanted to share all the posts that I have enjoyed reading.
Sadly, I only get to check in with my reader feeds about twice a day. Which means that I am missing out on a lot of enjoyable reads while I am not tuned in. If you wrote or read an especially spectacular post, I don’t want to miss it! I invite you to leave a mark of the noticeable post on my newly launched Facebook page. Like/follow if you please.
A selection of the links’ reading trail you leave for me will be featured in weekly Power Posts on this blog. I look forward to staying better caught up on your work.
The only criteria for posts: show us how you learn from, love, and live life.
Here are some quick inspiring words and images from my wonderful fellow bloggers to help you stay upbeat for the week. Enjoy, share and pay a visit to see more great work featured on these great blogs. Continue reading “Power Posts: Quick Inspiration”
I love what I do here! Living life is what this place is all about. Excited as I sound, life is less than perfect. But to me that just means I always have a challenge or vision to work for. I have expectations of myself. I want to rise up to make the best of every circumstance and find ways to achieve what I want. Even if it does not work out, it is comforting to know that I will not have ghosts of regret from my past because I did not try well enough.
Today, I decided to put together a throwback of the 5 posts I have published here that give me the most inspiration or make it real easy to foster productivity. Click on the pictures below to see my posts.

Thank you to Letters of Life for nominating me for this challenge.
I picked my quote for today from the journal I keep to collect these inspirational tidbits:
Life is short; live it.
Love is rare; grab it.
Anger is bad; Dump it.
Fear is awful; face it.
Memories are sweet; cherish it.

My last post was on August 4 so I have drifted from my personal goal of 2 posts a week. It has absolutely been one of the roughest months of my life (with some spill over into September that I am sadly still struggling with). I am hoping to be over these hurdles soon. I decided to be a little optimistic and walk away from these struggles with some reflection and lessons learned. It is easy to come up with motivational talk in my optimistic moments but my challenges, experience, determination, and frustration – the best and worst of me – all come from the worst moments.
